The Reverse Trade Show will provide suppliers in the Eastern regional business community with an opportunity to meet procurement staff from a wide range of organizations – Ontario government ministries, agencies, universities, colleges, municipalities, hospitals and school boards. The Reverse Trade show will provide a convenient access to information about government procurement. We would be pleased to have procurement representatives from South East Local Health Integrated Network and member institutions attend and staff a booth at this no charge event. The enclosed MERX electronic invitation(s) and Supply Ontario Q&A document will provide further information. The agenda will include a How to do Business with the Ontario Government seminar from 3:00 p.m. to 3:50 p.m., a roundtable limited seating Vendor Forum hosted by senior officials of the Ministry of Government Services from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and the Reverse Trade Show from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
 
Feb 24, 2010KGH & HDH Cardiac Event - Songs From the Heart
On Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Grand Theatre this event is a fundraiser for the Cardiac Program at KGH and HDH, will star the popular East Coast musical group The Barra Macneils and will feature Cliff Edwards (from The Bells), The Wilkins, David Hurley, and a wonderful local jazz group called Blazz. KGH / HDH have been fortunate to have all of the costs of the event covered by JE Agnew Foods (Tim Horton’s), Kim Treleaven (Royal Lepage), the Four Points Sheraton and Corus Entertainment. Proceeds from ticket sales will therefore go directly to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation for the KGH/HDH Cardiac Program.

This new publication is issued by the Long-Term Care Homes System Funding Review Steering Committee and will be published on a regular basis to inform LTCH stakeholders of its ongoing activities.The last 12 months has seen many exciting developments in the long-term care home sector. In addition to developing regulations under the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007, the Ministry began work on the Long-Term Care Homes System Funding Review (LTCHSFR). The LTCHSFR’s purpose is to address historical issues in funding and financial management and to define optimal solutions both for the short and medium to long-term.
